Join us at the GBO Open House for an action-packed day of free tours, talks, and family-friendly activities as we celebrate 70 years of NRAO.

We’re mixing things up a little this year with additional offerings! New this year, visitors will be able to tour the Control Rooms of the 85-foot Tatel Telescope and the 140-foot Telescope, which are usually only open during SETI tours. Weather permitting, there will also be a Star Party in the evening.
Buses will start taking visitors down to the GBT starting at 9:30 AM. Other Open House tours and activities will take place between 1-5 PM.
