About
The Highlands Bird and Nature club normally has four meetings a year in the spring, summer, and fall. No meetings are held in the winter. Meeting notifications are done via an email list maintained by the club secretary and announcements in The Recorder newspaper. The public is always welcome at our meetings. Meetings are normally held at the Highland Center in Monterey.
New members are always welcome. Membership categories include student, individual, family, and golden eagle. In the past, members were from the Allegheny Highlands which included Highland, Bath, Augusta, and Rockingham counties in VA and Pocahontas county, WV.
