There is a two-part option, read description carefully! This is a two-part camp. Part A takes place June 29 & 30, 9am-4pm and Part B takes a deeper dive on August 3 & 4, 9am-4pm. Part B students must have participated in Part A. At checkout, there will be an option for Part A or Parts A & B. 

This year's art camp will focus on CreARTivity, a way of growing themselves artistically. Designed for youth in grades 6-10, Part A will explore playing with paint to learn about color, texture, and style. Students will have a sketch book/journal and spend time in class and outdoors, including the Jones Garden, to use their surroundings as inspiration for creating unique, individual pieces of art. 

Students who continue with Part B will be encouraged, but not required, to use their sketch books in the month between sessions. Part B will explore more deeply ways to expand their personal style, including introducing some new mediums for expression. Students do not have to have prior experience, just a willingness to explore and expand their creativity, and to work individually and collaboratively.
